The official website for the anime/film inspired by Natsuki Kizu 's Given has revealed a trailer and soundtrack. Atsushi's centimillimental project will return to perform the song "Bokura dake no Shudaika" ( Only Our Theme Song ).

Synopsis

The story centers on Ritsuka Uenoyama, who plays guitar but has lost interest in the instrument. One day, he meets Mafuyu Sato, who is holding a broken guitar. Ritsuka begins teaching Mafuyu how to play the instrument, but when he hears Mafuyu's voice, the music begins to resonate in his heart, and the distance between them begins to change.

The Given movie was originally scheduled to premiere on May 16, but due to the spread of COVID-19 in Japan, the date was postponed to August 22.

Staff

Fuji TV 's newly created subsidiary , Blue Lynx, which specializes in BL ( boys' love ) anime, is producing the film.

Hiraku Yamaguchi will direct the film at Lerche . Yuniko Ayana ( BanG Dream! and Girls Beyond Wasteland ) is writing the screenplay, and Mina Osawa is doing the character design. Hiromi Kikuta and Michiru are handling sound direction and music composition, respectively. Both the cast and staff are returning to their roles in the film.

The anime adaptation of Given premiered in September 2019 and is licensed by Crunchyroll .

Furthermore, Natsuki Kizu's Given manga has been published by Shinshokan in Cheri+ since April 2013, with 5 volumes to date.
