Therefore, the film is directed by Tomohisa Taguchi ( Akudama Drive ) at the CLAP (Pompo: The Cinéphile). The release date is set for September 9th.
Synopsis:
Tono Kaoru has heard a rumor: The laws of space and time mean nothing to the Urashima Tunnel. If you find it, walk through it and you will find your heart's desire on the other side… in exchange for years of your own life. On the night Kaoru finds himself in front of a tunnel that seems suspiciously like what the rumor describes, he finds himself thinking about Karen, the sister he lost in an accident five years ago. To Kaoru's surprise, he is being followed by the new transfer student Anzu Hanaki, who promises to help him experience the mysterious tunnel – but what does she want from Kaoru in return? And what will he have to give, after the tunnel is done with him?
The work was published in 2019 and follows the young Anzu Hanaki and Tono Kaoru as they encounter a tunnel capable of granting any wish, but in exchange, they must give up several years of their lives. In 2020, the work also received a manga adaptation .
