Synopsis:
Tono Kaoru has heard a rumor: The laws of space and time mean nothing to the Urashima Tunnel. If you find it, walk through it, and you will find your heart's desire on the other side... in exchange for years of your life. The night Kaoru finds himself in front of a tunnel that looks suspiciously like the one the rumor describes, he finds himself thinking about Karen, the sister he lost in an accident five years ago. To Kaoru's surprise, he is being followed by new transfer student Anzu Hanaki, who promises to help him experience the mysterious tunnel—but what does she want from Kaoru in return? And what will he have to give once the tunnel is gone?
The book was published in 2019 and follows young Anzu Hanaki and Tono Kaoru as they encounter a tunnel capable of granting any wish, but in exchange, they must grant a few years of their lives. In 2020, the book also received a manga adaptation .
