Vampire Knight comes to an end after 18 years

After almost two decades of publication, the manga Vampire Knight , by author Matsuri Hino , is about to end its journey in the pages of LaLa . The work will be finalized in the July issue, with a final chapter that will be 52 pages and the release date set for May 24th .

Published since 2005, the story has won fans around the world with its captivating plot, focusing on the dilemmas and conflicts of young Yuki Cross , who lives among humans and vampires at the mysterious Cross Academy. The title stood out not only for its dark shoujo style, but also for the emotional development of its characters.

Anime and physical volumes won over the public

In addition to its success in the magazine, Vampire Knight gained an anime adaptation in 2008 , divided into two seasons totaling 26 episodes . The animated series helped further popularize the franchise, becoming one of the most remembered of the 2000s among fans of supernatural romance.

Finally, publisher Hakusensha recently released volume 17 of the manga, cementing the story's final stretch. The conclusion promises to be a memorable one, bringing long-awaited answers and emotional moments.

This way, fans can now prepare to officially say goodbye to Yuki, Zero and Kaname, characters who marked generations.
