The acclaimed manga The Vermilion Mask will gain an anime ! The announcement happened during the YTV panel at Anime Expo 2025 , and is already moving fans around the world. After all, the original work, published in Young King Outs , won readers with its intense mix of drama, action and dark fantasy.
The production of the anime is in charge of the 100Studio studio (Wow Studio seal), which has already confirmed heavy names on the creative team. TetSuaki Watanabe , known as Blue Lock , takes over with direct support from the authors of Manga, Dr. Poro and Nabana Naba .
What to expect from The Vermilion Mask?
In the plot, we follow Peru , a young artisan apprentice who, when wearing a cursed mask, loses control and ends up killing his master and colleagues. Moved by remorse, he departs on a journey to destroy all masks created by his master, facing powerful enemies and unexpected allies.
In addition, the plot plunges into topics such as guilt, redemption and the devastating impact of uncontrolled power. That is, do not expect a simple story - the anime promises emotional intensity with each episode.
Because the release has no official date yet, manga volumes 1 to 4 are digitally available in Orange. Volume 8 will be released in Japan on July 7, 2025.
