The story accompanies a girl who reincarnates like the villain of an Otome game. Determined to avoid her tragic destination, she tries at all costs to change her reputation. However, her new life hides an even darker secret: the true villain was just dormant inside her - and now woke up.

A game of mistakes and revenge begins

As the days go by, the perfect heroine scam begins to crumble. The protagonist, once determined to follow the way of good, is divided when the villain's original entity becomes aware. From that moment, the plot gains a darker and more complex tone, as the revenge of the original villain is about to begin .

As with other hits of the genre, such as My Next Life as A Villaness , this new anime promises to explore topics such as identity, redemption and manipulation, but from a more cruel angle. After all, not everything is what looks like Otome games, and appearances are wrong - sometimes mortally.

Expectations for The Villainness Within

Although no details have been released such as studio, cast or premiere forecast, the announcement already moves fans of narratives with morally ambiguous protagonists. Moreover, the promotional look released gives clues that the animation will have a touch of elegance and mystery.
