During the Anime Expo Lite on Saturday, it was revealed that the anime Square Enix role-playing game The Square Ends With You (Subarashiki Kono Sekai) will be available worldwide in 2021.
The title of the anime was The World Ends with You the Animation (Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation). The panel also revealed a promotional video.

Kazuya Ichikawa (Monster Strike the Animation) is directing the anime. Midori Gotou in Sanzigen is the screenwriter. Tetsuya Nomura and Gen Kobayashi are credited with the character designs.
Finally, set in the present day in a commercial district in Tokyo, it tells the story of Neku , a red-haired boy who wakes up in Shibuya with a mysterious stopwatch in his hand.
