The special “Sneaker Bunko 35th Anniversary Party!” broadcast live that the anime “ The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat ” (Sekai Saikō no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru) will receive a second season.
The announcement did not reveal the team or other details. Only promotional art was made public along with the announcement of the sequel.

The first season of the anime premiered in October 2021.
Masafumi Tamura (Wise Man's Grandchild, The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Two Car) directed the first season at SILVER LINK and Studio Palette, and Katsuhiko Takayama (Two Car, Ange Vierge, The Future Diary) wrote the scripts and supervised the series. Eri Nagata (Ensemble Stars!, Blade & Soul) designed the characters.
Synopsis
When a great assassin is reborn in another world, he becomes the heir to a long line of shadow assassins. However, with his knowledge and experience of modern times and the special magical techniques of this new world, he could become the most unstoppable assassin in history...!
Finally, Tsukiyo began serializing the story on the “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” website in July 2018. Furthermore, Kadokawa began publishing the story in printed volumes with illustrations by Reia in February 2019.
