Through a Japanese forum, Japanese otakus participated in a survey to vote for the most disappointing anime endings. Therefore, several people came together to create the list of animes that ended in the worst way.
Eventually, when talking about bad anime endings, the first names that come to mind among otakus are Bleach , Naruto and Shingeki no Kyojin . However, the Japanese have animes with much worse endings on their list. Most of the titles they highlight are older animations from the 90s, 80s and 70s. Therefore, it seems that classic animes are more disappointing than current animes.
