As the anime premieres, we bring you all the details of the individual characters from the Spy x Family anime so you can get to know each one of them.
1. Lloyd
Loid is a spy who has extraordinary combat, memory and information processing capabilities. He uses several identities to carry out his missions, although he is known by the code name “Twilight” within his secret organization. To be able to carry out his newest mission, he needs to pose as a father and have a “son” enrolled in a prestigious school, whose admission criteria involves the presence of “both parents”. To meet the criteria, he created a forged family, with Anya being his daughter and Yor his wife.
2. Yor Forger
Seen as an employee at Berlint City Hall, Yor is actually a skilled assassin nicknamed “Thorn Princess”. As well as she had the maiden name of Yor before “marrying” Loid. She is 27 years old and without knowing who Loid really is, and thinking that Anya is Loid's daughter from his previous marriage, she agreed to the fake marriage, to stop suffering pressure from her co-workers.
3. Anya Forger
In short, Anya is a girl who can read other people's thoughts. A guinea pig for scientific experiments, she escapes after scientists evaluate her as an experimental failure. After visiting several orphanages, she convinces Loid to adopt her when he goes looking for a child for her mission. She is only four and a half years old, but she lied that she was six so Loid would adopt her. Due to her ability, Anya becomes confused when exposed to crowds.
Therefore, Kazuhiro Furuhashi is directing the anime at Wit Studio and CloverWorks . Meanwhile, Kazuaki Shimada is designing the characters, and [K]NoW_NAME is the music producer.
Synopsis:
The story of this different family takes place with the master spy codenamed “Twilight”, where he spent his days on secret missions, all for the dream of a better world. But one day, he receives a particularly difficult new order from command headquarters. For his mission, he must form a temporary family and start a new life?! A spy/action/comedy about a unique family!
The work is based on the manga written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo . Therefore, it has been made available fortnightly for free on the Shōnen Jump+ and Manga Plus since March 25, 2019, with the chapters being compiled and published in tankōbon by Shueisha.
