The official website for the Strike Witches was updated and announced that the 3rd season including OVA was greenlit this weekend. The announcement was made during a strike in the middle of a Halloween event in Tokyo.
Strike Witches adapts a mecha-girl adventure illustrated by Humikane Shimada . The first season of the anime aired in 2008, while the second season hit screens in 2010. Additionally, an anime film adaptation premiered in Japan last year.
