It has been revealed that the Tiger & Bunny anime will have a second season, arriving in 2021. The new season is titled Tiger & Bunny 2, and will tell a new story following the events of the anime film Tiger & Bunny The Movie - The Rising .
Mitsuko Kase (Mobile Suit Gundam 0083) will direct, with character designs by Masakazu Katsura at Sunrise .
The story of the first season takes place in a futuristic city where heroes fight crime while promoting real-life sponsors, focusing on two superheroes, the old-fashioned "Wild Tiger" and the rookie hero Barnaby Brooks Jr., forced by their employers to work together.
Finally, the series aired on April 3, 2011 on Tokyo MX, with reruns on BS11 and MBS, ending on September 17, 2011.
