It has been revealed that the Tiger & Bunny anime will have a second season and will arrive in 2021. The new season is titled Tiger & Bunny 2, and will tell a new story following the events of the Tiger & Bunny The Movie-The Rising –
Mitsuko Kase (Mobile Suit Gundam 0083) will take over directing with character designer Masakazu Katsura at Sunrise .
The story of the first season is set in a futuristic city where heroes fight crime while promoting real-life sponsors, focusing on two superheroes, the old-fashioned “Wild Tiger” and the newbie hero Barnaby Brooks Jr. , obliged by their employers to work together.
Finally, the series was broadcast on April 3, 2011 on Tokyo MX, with reruns on BS11 and MBS, ending on September 17, 2011.
