After an episode full of emotion and plot twists, the anime To Be Hero X is preparing to begin a new arc introducing the character Lucky Cyan . However, the anime's director confirmed that the next heroes in the series will be animated in 2D, instead of 3D.

Shang Chao 's funeral , his father, Mr. Shand , expresses deep sorrow and anger, considering his son's fate unjust. Meanwhile, Yang Cheng approaches the deceased's father, offering a sincere apology.

Therefore, Yang Cheng has clues about the killer—a man who bears a scar on his neck, the same one he left during the Little Pomelo . This leads him to believe that the culprit should be in prison, which makes him distrust the Commission and prefer to act alone.

Later, he receives a call from the Enlighter , informing him that both the criminal and his agent have mysteriously disappeared. As these pieces fall into place, Yang deduces that the former E-Soul may be behind it all. Driven by a thirst for justice, he calls a press conference and challenges E-Soul to a duel on the organization's 34th anniversary. After all, if the villain refuses, his "Trust Value" will plummet.

What to expect from episode 8 of To Be Hero X?

The episode will focus on Lucky Cyan , revealing that she grew up in a social shelter, surrounded by other children—among them, a figure who strongly resembles young Yang Cheng.

The website says: What kind of "luck" could be hidden behind that tragedy? And how will Qing's world reveal the true meaning of her own luck...?
