To Your Eternity reveals new visual and premiere date

The official website for the anime To Your Eternity ( Fumetsu no Anata e ) has revealed a new visual, an April 12 premiere date, more staff members, and information on the ending song.

Staff

The anime produced by Brains Base is directed by Masahiko Murata, composed by Shinzo Fujita and character designed by Koji Yabino.

Ryo Kawasaki is composing the music, and Takeshi Takadera is the sound director. Masashi Hamauzu composed and arranged the ending theme song "Mediator."

The anime was scheduled to premiere in October 2020, but was postponed to April 2021 due to the anime's production being affected by the COVID-19 .

Furthermore, To Your Eternity will have 20 episodes and will be broadcast on Crunchyroll .

Synopsis

The epic saga of an immortal hero seeking to understand what it is to be alive…

At the beginning, an “orb” is thrown to Earth.

"It" can do two things: change into the form of whatever stimulates "it," and return to life after death. "It" transforms from an orb to a rock, then to a wolf, and finally to a boy, but wanders around like a newborn who knows nothing.

As a boy, “it” becomes FUSHI.

Finally, To Your Eternity ( Fumetsu no Anata e ) is written and illustrated by Yoshitoki Oima since November 2016, being published by Kodansha in Weekly Shonen Magazine , with 12 volumes so far. Furthermore, the manga won the award for best shonen manga at the 43rd edition of the Kodansha Manga Awards in 2019.
