Toei Animation is one of the largest animation companies in Japan, and anime series are in high demand in the entertainment market nowadays. So Toei planned to make a greater investment in its franchises by the year 2033 to expand the company's profits in the global market.

Toei is responsible for animating classic animes such as Digimon Adventure , Dragon Ball, Knights of the Zodiac and One Piece . The company noticed the increase in demand for anime in recent years, so they started investing in distributing the global market to cinemas. Its last theatrical anime releases were One Piece: RED and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero , which were the company's highest grossing with the global market in 2022.
Now Toei has strategic planning to take its productions even further over the next ten years. The planning does not just encompass anime, as they are also willing to invest in live-action productions, such as Power Rangers: Now and Forever and Knights of the Zodiac – Saint Seiya: The Beginning .
