Toei Animation is one of Japan's largest animation companies, and its anime series are highly sought after in the entertainment market today. Therefore, Toei has planned to invest more heavily in its franchises by 2033 to expand the company's profits in the global market.

Toei is responsible for animating classic anime such as Digimon Adventure , Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya , and One Piece . The company noticed the increased demand for anime in recent years, so they began investing in global theatrical distribution. Their latest theatrical anime releases were One Piece: RED and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero , which were the company's highest-grossing global anime in 2022.
Toei now has a strategic plan to expand its productions even further over the next ten years. The plan doesn't just encompass anime, as they're also willing to invest in live-action productions like Power Rangers: Now and Forever and Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya: The Beginning .
