The official website for the Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun ( Jibaku Shonen Hanako-kun ) anime announced Thursday that the project is "rebooting."
Additionally, it revealed promotional art and also released a teaser, which features scenes from the previous anime with a piano rendition of the anime's ending theme song "Tiny Light" by Akari Kito .
Synopsis
At Kamone Academy, rumors swirl about the school's Seven Mysteries, and one of them is Hanako-san. Hanako-san is said to occupy the third stall in the girls' bathroom, located on the third floor of the old school building. When summoned, Hanako-san grants any wish. Nene Yashiro, a girl with a passion for the occult and dreams of romance, ventures into this haunted bathroom, but the Hanako-san she meets is not what she imagined! Hanako-san, from Kamone Academy, is a boy.
The first anime adaptation of the manga premiered in Japan in January 2020. The series had 12 episodes.
