The new anime Tokyo 24th Ward ( Tokyo Twenty Fourth Ward ) will have 12 episodes . According to the official website , the series arrived on January 5th on Japanese TVs.
Naokatsu Tsuda is directing the anime, Vio Shimokura is writing and supervising the series scripts. FiFS is designing the characters, while Takahiro Kishida is adapting these designs for animation. Hideyuki Fukasawa is composing the music.
Synopsis:
Tokyo 24-ku is set on an artificial island floating in Tokyo Bay, called "Kyokutō Hōreigai Tokubetsu Chiku" (Outlaw Far East Special District), nicknamed "District 24." The manga centers on three childhood friends born and raised on the island: Ran, Koki, and Shuta. At a memorial service a year after the incident, the three meet again and all their phones start ringing at once. The call is from a friend they thought was dead, urging them to "choose the future." Each boy will believe in his own way of doing things.
