We have released the full trailer for the Japanese live-action Tokyo Ghoul . Adaptation of the manga was published in 2011, the story follows a young university student who realizes the existence of human-eating creatures called “Ghouls”. The publication had ten chapters and was later adapted into an animated series.
The film premiered in Japan on July 29th, ranking 5th at the box office on its opening weekend.
Directed by Kentarō Hagiwara, Masataka Kubota (Death Note live-action) is Ken Kaneki, Fumika Shimizu (My Neighbor Seki live-action) is Tōka Kirishima, Yuu Aoi (Megumi from Samurai X Live-action) is Rize Kamishiro, Nobuyuki Suzuki (from EXILE) is Kōtarō Amon and Yo Oizumi (Layton's seiyuu in Professor Layton) is Kureo Mado.
