According to information released in V-Jump magazine, Tokyo Ghoul :re will get a game for PlayStation 4. The game will focus on the survival theme.
The name of the new game is titled Tokyo Ghoul :re Call to Exist .
Based on Sui Ishida's manga, players will be able to fight transformed into Ghouls. Call to Exist will feature single-player action, online battles, and cooperative play, where the story will be told from the perspective of three characters.
Ishida launched the manga in 2011 and finished publication in 2014 with 14 volumes. Tokyo Ghoul:re also began production in the same year.
The first season follows Ken Kaneki, a student who barely survives a deadly encounter with Rize Kamishiro, a woman who reveals herself to be a ghoul; ghouls are human-like creatures that hunt and devour human flesh, with this revelation Rize attacks Kaneki who is seriously injured, trying desperately to escape Rize corners him until several metal pipes fall on Rize apparently killing her, shortly after which Kaneki passes out due to his injuries and is taken to the hospital in critical condition.
