The long-awaited horror anime “ Tokyo Ghoul” has gained some news, and the 13th edition of the Weekly Young Jump , from the famous Shueisha, announced the production team for the anime and the studio that will take care of the animation.
The production will be handled by Shuhei Morita (Tsukumo), and the studio will be the classic Pierrot , known as famous works, including the animes Bleach and Naruto.
The animation director is Kazuhiro Miwa (Eureka Seven AO), along with playwright Chuji Mikasano (LDK) who is supervising and writing the script.
The original manga takes place in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious ghouls devouring humans. People are gripped by fear of these creatures, whose identity remains a mystery. A college student named Kaneki meets Rize, a bookworm, at the diner he frequents. Little by little, he realizes that his fate will change in one night.
