The highly anticipated horror anime " Tokyo Ghoul" has received some new updates, with the 13th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump production and the studio that will be handling the animation.
The production will be handled by Shuhei Morita (Tsukumo), and the studio will be the classic Pierrot , known for famous works including the anime Bleach and Naruto.
The animation director is Kazuhiro Miwa (Eureka Seven AO), along with playwright Chuji Mikasano (LDK) who is supervising and writing the script.
The original manga story takes place in Tokyo, which is haunted by mysterious Ghouls who are devouring humans. People are gripped by fear of these creatures whose identity is a mystery. A university student named Kaneki meets Rize, a girl who loves to read, at the diner he frequents. Gradually, he realizes that his destiny will change one night.
