Requested for some time by loyal readers, we can finally have “ Tokyo Ghoul ” in our hands, because Panini has made its arrival on the Brazilian market official.
Published between 2011 and 2014 by Shueisha, with 14 bound volumes, Sui Ishida's work has a range of adaptations. In 2014, it received an animated version by studio Pierrot divided into two seasons, in addition to two more manga sequences entitled Tokyo Ghoul: Jack and Tokyo Ghoul:re and a musical theater show.
The story takes place in Tokyo, where creatures called ghouls appear, which feed on human flesh. The plot stars Ken Kaneki, a student who survives an attack by Rize Kamishiro, a ghoul. When he wakes up, he discovers that he has undergone a surgical process and that his attacker's organs have been transferred to his body, transforming him into a half-ghoul.
The official launch of the title will take place during the Anime Friends event in July.
