The official website for the Tokyo Mew Mew New revealed on Sunday that the second season will premiere on April 4th on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.
In addition, the website also released a promotional video and new artwork.

The video above therefore shows the opening theme song of Smewthie , entitled “Megamorphose”.
The first season premiered in July 2022.

Synopsis
The story focuses on Ichigo Momomiya, who expected his date with his love interest, Masaya Aoyama, to end romantically instead of being knocked unconscious after a cat enters his body. Things get stranger when the next day he discovers he's begun exhibiting feline instincts and habits. Finally, when Masaya is attacked by a monster, she discovers she can transform into a magical girl with cat ears, named Mew Ichigo. After that, Ichigo discovers that, along with other girls like her, they must defend the planet from an impending threat.
