The anime Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown based on the manga Tokyo Revengers , by Ken Wakui , ended this Sunday with the announcement of the adaptation of the Tenjiku Arc in the anime.

The announcement also revealed that Nobunaga Shimazaki plays Izana Kurokawa , head of Yokohama's Tenjiku team, while Tetsu Inada plays Kanji Mochizuki , one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku.
Ken Wakui launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Magazine in March 2017. Kodansha published the manga's 30th volume on November 17.
The anime adaptation of the manga premiered in April 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the anime when it aired in Japan, additionally, the Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown arc of the anime premiered on January 7th of this year.
Synopsis
Takemichi Hanagaki is an unemployed man who survives on odd jobs and is in a rut. He discovered that Hinata Tachibana, his first and last girlfriend, who he dated in middle school, was killed by Tokyo's merciless Manji Gang. So, the day after the news, he is on the edge of the train platform and is pushed by the crowd. He then closes his eyes preparing to die, but when he opens them, he goes back in time to when he was 12 years old. Now that he is in the best time of his life, Takemichi then decides to take revenge for his life by saving his girlfriend and stopping running away from himself.
