The staff of the anime Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown announced that the group Official HiGE DANdism is contributing the song “ White Noise ” as the opening theme.
Additionally, the staff streamed the clean, uncredited version of the anime's opening animation sequence:
Tuyu, the musical unit comprised of composer and guitarist Pusu, vocalist Rei, and pianist Miro, is contributing the ending theme song “Kizutsukedo, Aishiteru” (officially translated as “It May Be Painful, But I Still Love It”).
Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown will premiere on MBS on January 7th.
Crunchyroll also streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
Synopsis
The production tells the story of Takemichi Hanagaki, who, at 26 years old, discovers he is a time traveler. After discovering the truth behind his ex-girlfriend's death, he manages to return to the past about 12 years, warning her about what would happen to her.
A live-action film premiered in Japan in July 2021 and was the #1 live-action film in Japan in 2021. The sequel to the film will be released in two parts, one in spring and the other in summer 2023.
