Square -Enix has confirmed the sequel to the Tomb Raider reboot, released this year. “Development of this game is going very well,” said Phil Rogers , the company's CEO. Crystal Dynamics ' Darrell Gallagher , who alongside Square made the last game, also spoke about the sequel. “We are still in the early days. (…) But I can give you the certainty that we are trying to improve even more what we have done, to live up to the faith you have placed in us,” he said. The new title had been discussed after the announcement of the comic that it would continue the story of the first game. The publication will be directed by Gail Simone , who has already written episodes of Deadpool, at Marvel Comics, and Batgirl and Wonder Woman, at DC Comics.
