Flex Comix announced Thursday that Rie Nishida 's Tono to Inu " (The Lord and the Dog) is inspiring an anime adaptation.
Nishida drew the illustration below to celebrate the announcement:
Synopsis Tono to Inu
The manga centers on a fearsome samurai, once feared on the battlefield for his great skill. But after his clan fell apart, he has since lived a quiet and humble life, his intimidating face the only evidence of his former life as a warrior. One day, he encounters a curious corgi, with whom he is immediately smitten, and they begin a life together.
