“Too Many Losing Heroines!” follows Kazuhiko Nukumizu, a self-proclaimed “background character.” However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he accidentally witnesses his popular classmate, Anna Yanami, being rejected by her childhood friend. From that moment on, Kazuhiko finds himself involved with several girls, including Anna.

Amamori released the first volume of the novel "Too Many Losing Heroines!" in July 2021 under Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint, with illustrations by Imigimuru. The story ultimately won the 15th Shogakukan Light Novel Award in 2020.
