Anime About Revenge – Top 5
5. 91 Days: First, let's kick off our list with this very short series, released in 2016. We're quickly captivated by the plot and engaging narrative. Furthermore, the mafia theme and the exploration of American history make the anime even more fantastic. In fact, the entire series revolves around young Bruno's quest for revenge against the Vanetti family. They certainly handled the theme well and explored the entire story with skill.
4. Afro Samurai: Now, an even shorter but undeniably incredible work. Afro Samurai tells a story of revenge, where our samurai seeks revenge for his father. In fact, the whole plot of carrying the bandanas and our hero's solitary journey makes the story truly unique and crucial. Furthermore, working with a Black character in feudal Japan was very cool. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet, not to mention the film itself, which is also sensational.

03. Code Geass
Now, opening our top three, we have perhaps one of the best characters in the story. Lelouch seeks revenge against his father for the sake of his sister. However, as the book progresses, we see that our protagonist's goals go much further, where he wants to save the country from tyranny at all costs. In fact, even though it seems he's strayed from the path, the ending is absolutely perfect, and I'm speechless just remembering it. It's also worth highlighting the duality of working with Geass and the Mech theme, which made the work even more fantastic.
02. Vinland Saga
Here, we're undoubtedly witnessing one of the best anime of 2019. It was a complete success and quickly gained a legion of fans. Furthermore, witnessing the boy's revenge was incredible, with breathtaking scenes and fights. In fact, those who read the manga know how incredible and compelling Thorfinn's development is. We're all eagerly awaiting the premiere of the second season.
01. Berserk
And finally, we can't talk about revenge without mentioning Berserk. The series is about our beloved Guts, who faces demons and whatever else he can, just to get revenge on Griffith. No one expected the series to take that direction, which surprised us greatly. However, with the author's recent passing, the manga's future is still uncertain, but let's stay positive so we can see Berserk's outcome.
