Anime About Revenge – Top 5
5. 91 Days: First, let's open our list with this very short work, released in 2016. We were quickly surprised by the plot and the engaging narrative it offers. Furthermore, the theme of mafias and the exploration of American history make the anime even more fantastic. In fact, the entire work revolves around young Bruno's quest for revenge against the Vanetti family. They certainly handled the theme very well and explored the entire story with skill.
4. Afro Samurai: Now, an even shorter work, but undeniably incredible. Afro Samurai tells a story of revenge, where our samurai seeks vengeance for his father. Moreover, the entire plot, with the headbands and the solitary walk of our hero, makes the story truly unique and crucial. Furthermore, working with a Black character in feudal Japan was very cool. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet, not to mention the film, which is also sensational.

03. Code Geass
Now, opening our top 3, we have perhaps one of the best characters in history. Lelouch seeks revenge against his father for the sake of his sister. However, as the story progresses, we see that our protagonist's goals go far beyond that, where he wants to save the country from tyranny at all costs. Moreover, even though it seems he strayed from the path, the ending is undoubtedly perfect, and I'm speechless just remembering it. It's also worth highlighting the duality of working with Geass and the Mech theme, which made the work even more fantastic.
02. Vinland Saga
Here, we undoubtedly see one of the best anime of 2019. It was a complete success and quickly gained a legion of fans. Furthermore, following the boy's revenge was incredible, with breathtaking and impactful scenes and fights. Moreover, for those who read the manga, you know how absurdly well-developed Thorfinn is. We are all certainly very eagerly awaiting the premiere of the second season.
01. Berserk
And finally, it's impossible to talk about revenge without mentioning Berserk. The story is about our beloved Guts facing demons and whatever else, solely to avenge himself on Griffith. Certainly, no one expected that direction the story took, which surprised us greatly. However, with the author's recent passing, the manga's future remains uncertain, but let's stay positive so we can see the conclusion of Berserk.
