Best Anime of Summer 2021 – Top 5

5. Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S: First, we start the list with this sensational anime, whose first season aired in 2017. But now the anime is back in full force, and we can see our beloved dragons once again trying to live peacefully in the human world. Furthermore, the plot is quite simple and deals with everyday themes, but always in a comical and unusual way.

04. Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi: This series recently premiered on July 22nd. However, because they started a little later, they released two episodes at once. Therefore, we were able to get a better idea of the anime and we believe it could be quite interesting. Furthermore, it follows gods who return to fighting demons after years of peace, which has left everyone rusty and could be a big problem!

Best Anime of Summer 2021 – Top 3

03. To Your Eternity

Now, opening the top 3 we have this fantastic work! Actually, it started last season and we're following its continuation. The work itself is very interesting because it deals with more philosophical and profound themes, always touching the hearts of those who watch and making them reflect a lot. Furthermore, we also see a good dose of action with fantastic fights.

02. Tokyo Revengers

Here, we also have a continuation of the last season. Firstly, Tokyo Revengers has a very interesting theme, mixing time travel, student gangs, and lots of action! Thus, with quite captivating themes, this work promises to be a success this summer season, just as it was in the spring season.

01. Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken

Finally, in first place, we have our beloved Slime. This second season premiered at the beginning of the year, and now we're following its continuation. Furthermore, since it's an Isekai, a growing and very popular genre, we have high expectations for it. Not to mention that following its growth from zero to the creation of the Tempest Kingdom has been very satisfying. This mix of slice-of-life action and funny/frenetic scenes has made the series a great success!

Finally, I'd like to emphasize that this top 5 is primarily intended to give visibility to lesser-known anime. That's why we didn't include works like My Hero Academia, Boruto, and One Piece, as they are already renowned and highly regarded! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it, and until next time!
