We're already halfway through the year, and with that comes a series of new manga releases during this period, while others continue to release chapters; for this reason, I decided to compile a list of the 5 best manga released in 2021. Most of the manga I will mention haven't yet been scheduled for release in Brazil; however, given their success in Japan, it won't be long before they arrive here in Brazil.
TOP 5 — New manga of 2021
5. Candy Flurry: First, imagine a fusion between One Pieceand Candy Crush, add a dash of post-apocalyptic, and you have Candy Flurry.
In Candy Flurry, we follow a Japan where candies begin appearing all over the country, giving people superpowers, while cities are being destroyed by giant lollipops.
04. I Tell C: First of all, I put this manga on the list as a form of protest against what happened to it; I Tell C was an extremely promising manga, it was quite successful among readers of Shounen Jump; however, due to internal factors, the series was canceled.
In I Tell C, we follow Risa Aioi, a detective who has become obsessed with murderers and psychopaths, an obsession that has turned into a passion; the manga follows the story of this detective solving a series of mysterious innate abilities that no one can unravel.
TOP 03
03. Choujin X: First of all, Choujin X is a manga written by Sui Ishida, the author of Tokyo Ghoul, from which Choujin X draws a lot of inspiration.
Choujin X tells the story of two friends, Tokio Kurohara and Azuma Higashi, two normal young men forced to transform into monsters; this opens the doors to the world of angels and demons, and they must discover how to survive in this new reality.

02. Blue Box: Firstly, stories related to sports have always been successful in Japan, and Blue Box was no different.
Blue Box tells the story of Taiki Inomata, a talented badminton player who falls in love with Chinatsu, a talented basketball player; however, their lives are not easy, but rather filled with family, social, and personal problems; the connection between them becomes more than a simple romance.

01. The Elusive Samurai: Firstly, The Elusive Samurai's main distinguishing feature is that it's a shounen manga with a protagonist who doesn't want to fight; Hojo Tokiyuki is a young princess who, after witnessing the death of her family, decided to run away and therefore will never fight anyone.
Created by Yusei Matsui, author of Assassination Classroom, the manga has thus been quite successful in Shonen Jump and appears to be very promising.

Hey everyone, finally I'd like to hear from you about these new manga. Did any of them catch your attention? What did you think of them? Anyway, stay tuned for more.
