5. Meruem (Hunter x Hunter)
First, let's talk about a true King, who possessed very beautiful and sincere ideas. Furthermore, he was a precocious creature, but he developed in a spectacular and magnificent way. Moreover, it's worth mentioning his immense strength, which allowed him to defeat one of the most powerful Hunters in the entire series. Therefore, remembering his death is certainly poignant, especially when he goes to find Komugi to spend his final moments with her.
04. Maes Hughes (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Now, we see a just, good, and inspiring man. Hughes was always a very cheerful guy and the kind of man who would do anything for his family and friends. Therefore, seeing him go was extremely painful and difficult to overcome even today. It's also worth mentioning his funeral, as it's certainly a very melancholic scene, especially because of his daughter who was just an innocent child.
03. Koro Sensei (Assassination Classroom)
Opening our top 3, we have the best teacher in the world. He not only trained many young people in precarious situations, but also gave them a fantastic future, unique experiences, and developed the potential of each one. All this with so much love and care, where we see funny, sad, and thought-provoking scenes. So, seeing him leave because he had no other choice is simply very painful, not to mention his entire journey which only reinforces his genius.
02. Jiraiya (Naruto)
Here too, it's impossible not to cry. Jiraiya is undoubtedly one of the best-developed characters in the entire Naruto series. Besides being a legendary ninja, he certainly left a mark on us with his funny scenes, fantastic fights, and unique teachings. Not to mention, the saddest part is seeing Naruto's reaction when he discovers his master's death, and especially the conversation he had with Tsunade.
01. Portgas D. Ace (One Piece)
And to conclude our humble list, we have the loss of Ace! Where we see Whitebeard literally move heaven and earth to try and save his son, facing the strongest men in the world to do so. In contrast, the War of the Best was epic and featured several incredible battles. However, at its climax, we see the most touching scene of all, where Ace departs in his little brother's arms.
