Toriko 's official Twitter account announced that the anime will end on March 30th. Toriko fans already suspected the anime would end with the news that Dragon Ball Kai will air on April 6th at 9:00 AM. No news has yet been revealed about the anime's return.
The manga is written and drawn by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro, and began publication in May 2008. Due to its popularity and strong support from Jump, as well as crossovers with One Piece and Dragon Ball, Toriko has already had three films in its short lifespan and has a fourth planned for the next semester.
