Promising to be one of the best of the season, the anime  Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood got a new look and action-packed trailer this Saturday (21).

Therefore, the premiere of the anime Tougen Anki takes place on July 11, 2025 with animation by the studio HIBARI ( Assassination Classroom ).

Synopsis Tougen Anki

"You carry the blood of demons..." Long ago, the Oni and Momotaro bloodlines coexisted in conflict. The Oni, aware of their savage nature, lived in isolation until they were attacked by the Momotaro. Thus, the Momotaro Kikan and Oni Kikan organizations emerged, waging a war that has lasted millennia. The protagonist Shiki Ichinose unexpectedly discovers he is an Oni when he suffers a sudden attack from the Momotaro. But now , he must face the destiny of carrying the spirit of an Oni within him and face intense challenges. A story of dark heroes begins here!

Therefore, the manga is written and illustrated by Yura Urushibara, serialized in Akita Shoten's shōnen magazine since June 2020. Finally, the manga surpassed 2.2 million copies sold, adding up the 14 published volumes.
