KOEI Tecmo released a five-minute animated trailer for the game Toukiden Kiwami . The game is scheduled to be released on August 28th. The regular PS Vita will retail for 5,800 yen (about US$57 ), while the downloadable version will cost ¥5,143 (US$ 51) .
The regular PlayStation Portable version cost ¥4,800 (US$ 47) , while the downloadable edition will be available for ¥4,286 ( US $42 ). Treasure Box edition will include a Tenko , art book , soundtrack CD , and a download code for six character costumes The set will retail at ¥11,800 (US$116 ) for the PlayStation Vita and ¥10,800 (US$ 106) for the PlayStation Portable . Early copies of the game will also include a download code for Soma and Reki costumes.
The original game is set several years after a temporal cataclysm unleashed demons on the human world . Players control a demon hunter charged with ridding the world of the new threat. Omega studio , which developed the Musou ( franchise , developed the title, and Hidari ( Fractale, Natsu-iro Kiseki , Vividred Operation ) designed the characters for the game. Studio 4 °C animated a short to promote the game .
