PA Works revealed this Friday, the 27th, that it is producing a new anime. Titled Towa no Yugure , the series is completely original and will premiere in October 2025 .

MBS and TBS will air the animated series in their "Super Animeism Turbo" . There's no confirmation yet about an international broadcast . Watch the full trailer:
The project is Naokatsu Tsuda (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) and oversees the scripts. The original character designer is Midori Tayama (Girl Crush), with Yoshiko Saitō (Mushoku Tensei II) adapting the designs for animation. The soundtrack is by Masahiro Tokuda (Ishura, Platinum End).
Only the main actors have been revealed, check out the names:
- Shūichirō Umeda will be Akira Himegami;
- Yui Ishikawa will be Yugure;
- Ai Kayano will be Towasa Ōmaki.

Synopsis of Towa no Yugure
The anime promises a mix of science fiction , drama and romance, see the synopsis of the work:
“When Akira Himegami, a high school boy, wakes up from cryogenic sleep and sees an unbelievable scene unfold before him.
A war-torn city. The country is obsolete, and the people are ruled by a unified organization called OWEL, which has a new marriage system called 'Elsie.'
People have changed a lot from the world he lived in. Then, she appeared in front of Akira.
'Towasa!?' he said involuntarily.
The existence was an android, Yugure, who looked very much like his past lover. She smiles and expresses her feelings for Akira.
'Akira… please marry me.'
Confused by the android's sudden request, Akira decides to embark on a journey with Yugure, believing he can reunite with his beloved Towasa, who must be somewhere in the world.
