There's no doubt that Pokémon is one of the most successful franchises in the world. So much so that the Japanese national football team adopted Pikachu as its mascot for the 2014 World Cup . However, it's not only in football that the electric mouse is honored by the Japanese.
, Toyota unveiled two cars inspired by Pikachu and Fennekin, another Pokémon from the series. The company doesn't intend to sell or mass-produce these cars, at least not yet, but apparently, the two cars were a huge hit at the Japanese toy fair.
Who knows, maybe the manufacturer will even decide to put these cars in dealerships and brighten up the streets of Japan a bit. There aren't many details about the cars since they were made only for demonstrations, especially for this one. Therefore, no cutting-edge technologies or any electric solutions you might have imagined.
