Toyotarō , artist and co-creator of the Dragon Ball Super manga , surprised fans by revealing a never-before-seen illustration of Goku and Vegeta in their most powerful forms yet. However, this tribute marks the seventh anniversary of the Dragon Ball Legends game , one of the franchise's most enduring titles.

Additionally, the exclusive artwork shows Goku in his Ultra Instinct and Vegeta in his Ultra Ego form, thrusting their fists toward the viewer. As announced on the game's official social media channels, players will be able to use this illustration as wallpaper and as a sleeve cover within the game.

Previously, Toyotarō had already drawn the cover of Volume 24 of the manga, released in Japan on April 4, 2025. The volume, titled “ A Legacy for the Future ”, collects chapters 101 to 104 and shocked fans with an intense representation of the Z warriors.

While Goku and Vegeta appear in their Ultra forms, so do Beast Gohan , Orange Piccolo , and the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly Dragon Ball Z era , when the characters had a darker, more realistic look.

Black Frieza and the Future of Dragon Ball Super

Black Frieza

Black Frieza 's appearance on the back cover of the volume that sent the community into a frenzy. This detail hinted at who the Z Warriors would face and fueled hopes that the villain would star in the series' next arc.

According to Toyotarō, the Dragon Ball Super will continue without Akira Toriyama's supervision, following a new storyline, unrelated to the film adaptation Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero . Therefore, fans believe that Toyotarō will have full creative control over the work, published in Shueisha 's V-Jump .

Finally, the manga can be read digitally via Viz Media and Manga Plus . And of course, if you want to keep up with the latest anime news, follow AnimeNew on WhatsApp and Instagram .
