Previously, Toyotarō had already designed the volume , released in Japan on April 4, 2025. The volume, entitled “ A Legacy for the Future ”, brings together chapters 101 to 104 and shocked fans with an intense representation of the Z warriors.

While Goku and Vegeta appear in their ultra shapes, Gohan Beast , orange piccolo and the legendary Super Saiyan Broly , all marked by battles, but still ready for new fighting. Inevitably, the illustration was seen as a tribute to the Dragon Ball Z , when the characters had a darker and more realistic look.

However, it was the appearance of Black Frieza on the back cover of the volume that left the community in a real buzz. This detail indicated who the Z warriors would face and fueled the hope that the villain star in the next arc in the series.

According to Toyotarō, the manga Dragon Ball Super will continue without the supervision of Akira Toriyama, following a new story, detached from the adaptation of the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero . Therefore, fans believe that Toyototaō will have full creative control of the work, published in V-Jump by Shueisha .

Finally, the manga can be read digitally via Viz Media and Manga Plus . And of course, if you want to keep getting the latest news from the anime world, follow AnimeNew on WhatsApp and also follow on Instagram .
