Toyotarō surprised fans by releasing a new illustration to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Dragon Ball Super . The series has been on hiatus since March 2024, following the passing of Akira Toriyama . However, promising news may arrive very soon.
Finally, as revealed on the Weekly Dragon Ball News V-JUMP magazine , scheduled for release on July 19th, will feature a new poster drawn by Toyotaro. In it, we see Goku in Ultra Instinct and Beast Gohan recreating the classic Kamehameha pose from the Cell Saga—a detail that generated a great deal of excitement on social media.
Could Toyotarō's illustration foreshadow the series' return?

Although the poster doesn't directly confirm their presence, fans speculate that this visual union between Goku and Gohan may foreshadow the clash against Black Frieza . The V-JUMP issue will also feature another exclusive artwork by Toyotarō for the Dragon Ball Legends , showing Goku and Vegeta in their most powerful forms.
Furthermore, editor Victory Asada promised to reveal a " certain project " in the same issue of the magazine. While this information remains vague, there is a possibility that we will finally know the return date of the manga—or perhaps the announcement of a new project in the Dragon Ball universe.
Finally, if V-JUMP doesn't deliver any major news, fans can still have hope. Toyotarō will participate in a panel at Japan Expo Paris in early July, which could bring unexpected surprises.
