The new animation for Spider-Man: Into The Spider Verse showed what it came for. With incredible visuals and movements that immediately resemble reading the comics, the second trailer shows a little more of the story. Surprisingly, the video mixing Spider-Man's multiverses revealed the character Gwen-Spider (Hailee Steinfeld) who makes a surprise appearance.
The story of the long-running Spider Verse follows Miles Morales encountering Peter who is currently not the teenager we usually see. He's an older superhero, at the end of his career, so he has a very different perspective on what it means to be a superhero.
The film is directed by Peter Ramsey, the same man who worked on (Rise of the Guardians) in 2012. The official release is all by Sony and is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 14, 2018.
