The first trailer for the sci-fi epic "Jupiter Ascending" from siblings Andy and Lana Wachowski (The Matrix) has been released. With a completely futuristic feel, the action-packed trailer promises to take the siblings back to the origins of their career-defining success, the acclaimed "The Matrix" franchise.
The film takes place in a world where humans share the universe with much more evolved creatures, created from the fusion of our DNA with that of other animals.
The film stars Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum and tells the story of Jupiter Jones ( Kunis ), a young American woman who finds herself the target of an intergalactic bounty hunter because she is destined to receive an inheritance that could destabilize the political order of the universe. They end up falling in love. Together, they are pursued by evolved beings, while the girl fails to demonstrate her true power.

“Jupiter Ascending” has its international premiere scheduled for July 25, 2014 and arrives here in Brazil on August 8, 2014, distributed by Warner.
