The official Twitter account for the Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu revealed that the franchise will get a film from Kyoto Animation titled Tsurune Archery .
Synopsis
When Minato Narumiya enters Kazemai High School, he is soon invited to join the archery club at the request of his advisor, Prof. Tommy, and his childhood classmates Seiya Takehaya and Ryohei Yamanouchi. Already endowed with a lot of experience in the sport, they ask him to demonstrate... but Minato's arrow doesn't hit the target.
The anime premiered in Japan in October 2018. Sentai Filmworks licensed and streamed the anime on Crunchyroll and HIDIVE while it aired in Japan.
Takuya Yamamura (director of episodes 7 and 12 in Violet Evergarden ) directed the anime at Kyoto Animation. Michiko Yokote ( Shirobako ) wrote the scripts. Miku Kadowaki ( Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid ) designed the characters. Harumi Fuuki composed the soundtrack. Lantis did the musical production. Furthermore, Luck Life performed the opening song “Naru” and ChouCho the ending song “Orange-iro”.
Finally, the anime is inspired by the light novel by Kotoko Ayane and Chinatsu Morimoto that has been published since 2016 by Kyoto Animation , with 2 volumes to date.
