light novel series written by Kotoko Ayano , with illustrations by Chinatsu Morimoto . The first novel won the “ Special Judge Award Kyoto Animation Award competition in 2016 and was published by the studio itself in December of that year.
The anime adaptation of the series, produced by Kyoto Animation, aired from October 2018 to January 2019. A film premiered in August 2022.
Synopsis
The story follows the life of Narumiya Minato, a boy who has just entered high school. He meets two friends at his new school, Takehaya Seiya and Yamanouchi Ryouhei. As soon as they enter school, they are called by a teacher, who asks for their help to reactivate the Kyudo club (archery sport).
