The second part of the film Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2205: Aratanaru Tabidachi ( Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Journey ) has received its trailer. According to the official website , the animation will be released on February 4th in Japan.

Synopsis:
The story takes place in the year 2199, where Earth has been bombarded by radioactive asteroids from the planet Gamilus, putting humanity in danger of extinction. In orbit around Mars, cadets Kodai Susumu and Shima Daisuke find a crashed spaceship containing a message from the queen of the planet Iscandar. She offers her help to the inhabitants of Earth, providing them with a blueprint for building an engine that will allow them to travel faster than light and reach the Sunzar system, where the planet Iscandar is located, in less than a year. On this planet, humans will have access to a cosmic cleaner that will remove radiation from Earth and restore the planet in a short time. The engine is built and installed on the battleship Yamato, which will begin its arduous journey.
Finally, the first part of Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2205 arrived on October 8th in two parts from the studio Satelight.
