The second part of the film Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2205: Aratanaru Tabidachi ( Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Journey ) has won its trailer. According to the official website , the animation arrives on February 4th in Japan.

Directed by Kenji Yasuda ( Macross Delta ), Harutoshi Fukui is writing and supervising the scripts, while Nobuteru Yuki designs the characters.
Synopsis:
The story takes place in the year 2199, when Earth has been bombarded by radioactive asteroids from the planet Gamilus, putting humanity at risk of extinction. In orbit around Mars, cadets Kodai Susumu and Shima Daisuke encounter a crashed ship containing a message from the queen of the planet Iscandar, offering her assistance to Earth's inhabitants, providing them with a blueprint for building an engine that will allow them to travel faster than light and thus reach the Sunzar system, home of the planet Iscandar, in less than a year. On this planet, humans will have access to the cosmos cleaner, which will remove Earth's radiation and restore the planet in an instant. The engine is built and installed on the battleship Yamato, which will begin its troubled journey.
Finally, the first part of Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2205 arrived on October 8th in two parts by Satelight studio.
