The official website for the Uchuu Senkan Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato) anime announced a new sequel film in the series. Titled Space Battleship 2205: A New Journey , the film is scheduled to begin screenings in the fall season next year.
It was also revealed that Shoji Nazaki will executive produce the film, and Harutoshi Fukui will direct the script.
