The official website for the anime series Uchuu Senkan Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato) has announced a new sequel film in the series. Titled Space Battleship 2205: A New Journey , the film is scheduled to begin screenings in the fall season of next year.
It was also revealed that Shoji Nazaki will serve as the film's executive producer, and Harutoshi Fukui will direct the script.
