The official anime website Uchuujin Mumu (Me and the Alien Mumu ) has revealed a new teaser and a promotional look. Teaser releases the opening song and the second cour debut of the series that takes place on July 2 , 2025.

Author Hiroki Miyashita launched the manga in the Magazine King King Outs from Shonengohosha in 2019. Singer Ako will be responsible for the opening song called “Move Move” . Check out the full teaser below:

Dubbing cast
OLM studio is responsible for the production of the anime. Tomoya Takahashi (Moon Cosmos The Movie) is the director. Keiichirō ōchi (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) is responsible for the scripts. Kenji ōta (Pon No Michi) is projecting the characters and Kuricorder Quartet is composing the song.
The stars remain the same as the first cour, they are:

Uchuujin Mumu's synopsis
The story follows MuMu, an alien who takes the form of a cat and travels to Earth to recover lost knowledge about his home planet's advanced technology. But in your world, war has decimated engineers and intellectuals, leaving your civilization with no one capable of understanding the technologies developed. To rebuild his knowledge, MuMu decides to study Earth's electrical appliances, but ends up generating daily confusion in the life of Sakurako Umeyashiki, a young university student who agrees to take him in.
